Re: On the Simplicity and Complexity of God

This reflects one of the many internally contradictory positions of Christian theology that I used to wave away with nods to it being a "mystery" or some such. Jesus is held, in most Christian theologies, to be "fully human and fully god." However, apparently while Jesus is fully god, his body isn't, because god isn't material. But Jesus' body is part of who Jesus is, so only part of Jesus is apparently fully god, rendering the meaning of "fully" somewhat vague.
I would have to respectfully disagree with AP on this point. Jesus, the person, is divine. This includes his body.

There goes simplicity (as it has been defined here)...
"The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy...Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

Key phrase being 'as it has been defined here'.
