O.K., but since this thread is about the appropriateness of challenge-riposte, I hardly see how that's relevant.

This is about the notion that anyone who argues against Christianty wishes to destroy Christianity, while anyone who wishes to destroy Christianity is a criminal. We've seen that train of thought in this very thread. If anything's going to doom America as we know it, it's the notion that people who disagree with (insert Religous view here) are criminals.
I don't think anybody made that charge. It was simply noted that this is how the behavior was seen in Old Testament times. Nobody here is advocating stoning heretics today.

As do many atheists. Let's do everything we can to avoid facing it on either side.
If it makes you feel any better, I haven't killed any atheists lately.
The last line is what did it for me. I suppose many of our atheist friends can rest easier tonight.

Good, because they're easier to sneak up on when they're sound asleep.

That's so true. I have often asked the Lord, that if I'm sinning, to forgive me for killing another sleeping atheist. I find that just holding a pillow firmly over their face for about 4 minutes, usually does the trick. You have to be certain, because it's not like in the movies, where people die in 15 seconds. When I first began to kill sleeping atheists, I thought it was ok to release the pillow after they stopped kicking and resisting. But to my horror, upon seeing several of them revive after I walked away, I've adopted the 4 minute rule. Hope this helps you in your efforts to promote Christianity, by getting rid of those who oppose it.

      Blessings, GB
