Reconmendations for Contra-JW Books Sought
I'm looking for some recomendations on good Contra-JW books. I allready have the material by Ron Rhodes. I also have Martin's Kingdom of the Cults.
Does anybody have any suggestions.
On a related note. What would be a good lexicon for one who does not know a stitch of NT Greek but has some minor experience using Strong's?

Read Edward Dalcour's web articles here:
http://christiandefense.org/jw.htm
He's extremely good at contra-JW stuff.

Dalcour is the man.

As for a lexicon, the only one I have is Thayer's. I don't know NT Greek either, and heck if I can figure out a darn thing about this here lexicon.
But I haven't really gotten a chance to sit down and truly attempt to decipher all of the abbreviations, and the font is close together. The combination of the two bewilders me at times.
Given that you mention that it's on a related note to the JW question, though, I'm guessing that you'd like to get your hands on the entry for theos, eh? The entry for that word alone in Thayer's is a page long. Maybe someday I'll figure out the secret code.
When it comes to counter-JW books, I don't have much (though I did write an article [by "article", I more or less mean "rant extending for more than 80 pages"] attempting to demonstrate the deity of Christ that has some interesting stuff, I guess--special attention to Jesus as YHVH and to the input of the Church Fathers). I own, but haven't read, Robert Bowman's Why You Should Believe in the Trinity: An Answer to Jehovah's Witnesses. I've also heard some decent things about Robert Morey's The Trinity: Evidence and Issues. When it comes to counter-JW apologetics, the Trinity and Christology are probably the only things I ever really think of.
I'm so used to leaping straight into that that I'd have a hard time remembering much I've ever read about any of the other issues involved. Other than Rhodes, Reed, Martin, Bowman, and perhaps Morey, I'm at a loss to think of any other authors who've written books dealing with them.
"If God has given [his people] such joy now, joy in their faith, in their hope, in love, in the truth of his scriptures, what kind of joy is he preparing for them at the end? If he feeds them like this on the journey, how will he feast them in their homeland?"--Augustine of Hippo
"It cannot be that the people should grow in grace unless they give themselves to reading. A reading people will always be a knowing people."--John Wesley

I was not bad with the code for Strong's for a while. Try writting the abbreviations and meanngs on a seperate sheet of paper and using it as you look at the rest of the text.

Could I look at it someday. Not now, but later?

Not a bad idea. Thayer's is a lot more complex than Strong's, though. You'll see what I mean when you get your hands on one. But yeah, I think that if I could have a paper with an abbreviation-meaning chart, it might help a lot.
