Re: January 2007 Screwballs
True that. But it is fun to watch people obliviously waltz into these forums, toss out a few long discredited anti-Christian arguments, then quickly retreat with a black eye, a bloody nose, and a few missing teeth.

Nomination for "dimbo". File this one under "There is no evidence to support Christianity, and even if there was, I wouldn't believe it anyway!"

Gosh... these kids are like Jimbo! Just look at this gold:
http://www.freethinkingteens.com/for...te/2554?page=1Well then, do you get to decide what's a hyperbole and what's not? Why didn't god show us a clear path as to what parts of scripture are a hyperbole or not?
If the bible is god's word, why didn't god make it clear for all of us?
Why does your all-powerful and all-knowing god need to rely on apologists and theologians to clarify his word?
Translation: I'm too lazy to do my homework... so I'll blame God for it...

Here's the chaos I've caused so far over there:
http://www.rationalresponders.com/fo...l_errancy/3983
A sample:
Got to love the "Irrational Responders"...I asked that moron some questions about the bible in the "Glossolia and The Unforgivable Sin"' thread, he just responds with "you do your own research".
It reminded me of the stuff I used to say when I was a christian debating with atheists.
Also, he STILL hasn't responded to me in the "What about Jesus?" thread, and he's saying that I'M the one that's avoiding questions.
Let's just ignore him...I don't know.

You want I should come over and help you operate the Wrecking Ball of ExegesisTM? I could certainly use the practice. And (no offense, I hold you in the highest regard) eventually, as you continue to take their "arguments" and grind them up into tiny pieces, the "you can't spell" charge is gonna come out, so it might be nice to have a person who's won a spelling bee or 5 (

Awww... yes we all need the pratice... Although over there... using a wrecking ball of ExegesisTM is kind of like using a stick to TNT to take out an ant hill.

Re: January 2007 Screwballs
So the practice I'd receive would be comprable to the practice I'd receive playing Halo 2 multiplayer against uncontrolled characters? Or taking batting practice with a guy throwing beach balls? Or bowling balls?
