"Show me a worm that understands"...CS Lewis Quote
I recently heard this quote by C. S. Lewis (purportedly) but can't exactly remember how it goes or find it using the power of Google.
It goes something like this:
"Show me a worm that understands man and I will show you a man that understands God."
Basically saying: as different as a worm is from man, man is from God.
Anyone know how it goes for certain? I can't remember if it's "If you can show me a worm..." or ehmm..or it could be from somebody else too...Most people have seen worse things in private than they pretend to be shocked at in public. --E. W. Howe
