Not true. He threatens to double down on the global warming issue to frighten them. He will follow through even if they are not frightened. He is serious.

We need a beer summit. And vodka too.

"Ronald Reagan did a couple of really big things that we should all remember. He sat in with Tip O'Neill — the most liberal guy in the entire House," Graham said. "They started drinking together."

"That's the first thing thing I'm going to do as president — we're going to drink more".

According to Putin, Turkey, a NATO country, is buying ISIS smuggled oil. That's a pretty bold international accusation to make if not true. Someone with a lot of money is buying ISIS smuggled oil.

I wouldn't be all that surprised if it were true. There have been numerous rumors to that effect for a couple of years.

I'm always still in trouble again

And so an inquiring mind would have to ask, is there a connection between US military ordered not to destroy the ISIS oil convoys until recently and Turkey buying the oil, or are the two incidences totally unrelated, just a coincidence.

I'm guessing coincidence - supposedly, the reason the US hasn't been destroying oil transport trucks is because the drivers might be civilians, and would, therefore, be "collateral damage", about which Obama is hypersensitive.

If that were Obama's reason, he could have simply warned the truckers to flee before striking a long time ago just the same.

You're kidding, right? He's too busy with his war on Republicans to get bogged down in the minutia of fighting terrorists.

                        Well, lookie here.....

                        Source: BusinessInsider

To limit civilian casualties, the US dropped leaflets over the tankers before the attack that said "run immediately or you will be killed," the officials told NBC.

You can't make this stuff up! If these guys were driving trucks for ISIS, they can hardly be considered "civilian casualties". ISIS pays well for support jobs, and it wouldn't take long for word to get out - "hey, you can make good money driving oil trucks for ISIS, but you may get dead pretty quickly".

Not sure I understand your point. Are you saying that Obama ordered the strike on the oil tankers only because Russia was doing it?

Don't know that, but it sure appears that way. And I don't think he so much as "ordered the strike" as he eased up on the rules of engagement.

                              apropos U.S. Thanksgiving Day.

Turkey shots down a fighter plane.

I'm glad Israel decided to not shoot down a russian plane when it strayed into it's territory. IDF Minister,Moshe Ya'alon, stated

"Russian planes have no intention of attacking us, so there is no need to automatically shoot them down, even if they accidentally [breach our air space]."
