Didn't read the comic books at the time it happened in the Marvel Universe, but seems rather insignificant all things considered. As I understand it in the Marvel Universe this was a major issue. Avenger vs. Avenger, Mutant vs. Mutant, and every other Marvel character vs. every other Marvel character. This trailer makes it look like silly infighting between the core Avengers group, which counts for what....like less than 10 characters? Hulk and Thor are out of the picture to focus on Ragnarok. I know Spider-Man has a cameo, but will that be enough? They shoulda waited on this till after Avengers 3 when they had enough superheros to account for. I mean, they coulda at least waited till Fox gave up on the Fantastic 4 and used those characters. All that said, it does look better than the last two Captain America films, so who knows.

It will be Cap, Bucky, Hawkeye, Falcon, Agent 13, Ant Man, and Scarlet Witch vs. Iron Man, War Machine, Black Widow, Vision, and Black Panther. Crossbones, Thunderbolt Ross, and Baron Zemo will all be in it, and Spidey will make a cameo.

I mean, that's pretty good I guess, but from what it looks like in the comics the war looks far more broad than that.

They have to keep the cast small. Introducing too many new characters is a death sentence for any movie. Plus, Fox owns the rights to several of those heroes.

I realize that, still, the scope of the Civil War in Marvel's books was supposed to be immense, and I don't think we're really going to see anything quite like that in the film. Hopefully the ripple effect will show itself in other Marvel properties like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Defenders, The Punisher and Agents of Shield.

Since the Avenger movies had a pronounced effect on Agents of Shield I would be surprised if it didn't have a noticeable influence on that franchise.

I never heard of her until they added her in Marvel Avengers Alliance. If the new chat they added is accurate, then I don't want to see her show anyway though.

I didn't know who she was either. She's post my comic book collecting time. Apparently she wasn't that big of a deal when they did introduce her (early/mid 00s?). That said, her show is fantastic. I liked it better than the Daredevil series, and that's saying something. Also, David Tennant playing the villain was a stroke of genius.

David Tennant as a villain? Hard to imagine for me. So, he's "Purple Man" then?

The chat was saying that sex scenes are very frequent, as one person put it they were "a major part of the story". If that's not the case, then I would be interested in seeing it. That is, if I ever get a chance. I tend to have a hard time watching TV, and movies. I tend to need something more interactive to distract me from my pain sufficiently.

Yep. Hope that wasn't a huge spoiler for you, but he's so fascinating. Its so weird to see Dr. Who being just...terrible, but strangely likable, but terrible. lol.

The show is very adult. And yes, especially the fist few episodes, there is some relatively graphic sex scenes. Less graphic than, say, early Game of Thrones, but still, pretty raunchy. That said, no, it does not serv as a major part of the story. It's not a porno.

                            That's not a spoiler IMO.

That's another show I don't watch. As for that last part, I was just relaying information I had seen eslewhere.
