Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotionals, 2015: Year of Promise
The Birth of Jesus enables us…

Welcome to what we in the United States call Black Friday!

Black Friday in the United States is the official commercial start of the Christmas Season. Retailers offer unheard of savings on certain items to get buyers into their store in hopes of selling other products. To retailers the Christmas Season is all about Profit and Loss and for them P & L means life or death for their business. However, as important as Profit and Loss are not only to the retailers but to those who the retailers employ the Christmas Season is really about People and Lives.

Christmas is not about how much money we spend on our family and loved ones it’s about how much of our selves we spend in serving the God who loves us enough to spend the life of His Only Begotten Son on us. But then each of us is well aware of that fact!

The Black Friday deals are much different this year than last year and many of those deals have faded from our lives and memories however the good news is the Christmas Story has not changed. For many of us the past year has been quite stormy we have faced the loss of loved ones, the loss of employment, the loss of homes, the loss of hope, but one thing we have not lost is the security that comes from our relationship with God through Jesus.

As we enter the Christmas Season and as we prepare to celebrate the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day let us not forget that our joy, hope, peace, and love are secure in the awesome fact that Jesus’ birth was not only for that time but for all times!

Welcome to the Christmas Season, that time of the year when the blackness of Black Friday becomes the Light of Jesus on Christmas Day!
