Re: Fun with Evolutionists
I love Supersport!
He brings balance to the farce, they say.
I can't comment on most of his threads, but I'm afraid I am no fan of the evo community myself. So much a history of fraud and conjecture. To many questions, not enough real evidence, no observations.
But what do I know?Vigilante: When will Pixie realize she digs me Mononoke?
Mononoke: Maybe never.
Vigilante: I don't know if I can live with that Mononoke.
Mononoke: Would you like to know? Try it.

Mononoke is not being nice.

Likewise it would be but a few moments effort to bring up Tiktaalik and its intermediate fin-limbs and transitional ears, and how it fits so precisely in the gap in the Fish to Amphibian transition. I could also bring up the mammal-to-reptile transition or just the well-documented evolution of the horse over the past 55 million years. These are but a few examples and there are a whole lot more. But then we have this...

You make it pretty clear that you don't want evidence or facts getting in the way of your rant. As shadowmaster astutely noted, you think that everyone who supports ToE is an atheist. Thus anyone presenting evidence to the contrary of your own crackpot ideas about ToE must be an atheist. And since you don't believe a solitary word any atheist says...
So now we get to the point... If this is what you honestly think then why are you bothering to post things in this forum? If all science is a lie (presumably including your own Lamarkian mumbo-jumbo) and all scientists are liars, why are you wasting your time here?

Re: Fun with Evolutionists
I love how evolution proves how fantastic I am
Isn't evolution wonderful? My goodness, I think I'm finally starting to see the light! I once put my faith in God, but now I think I'm starting to see the divinity of natural selection combined with pure, blind luck. Isn't it amazing how natural selection created, organized and/or re-arranged all the dna of pre-historic plants to evolve into a brain as complex as Einstein? Wow! And isn't it incredible how emotions and feelings such as happiness, sadness, guilt, pleasure, faith, and belief just evolved from billions and billions of accidents over time? And love...who could forget love? Love makes the world go 'round and makes our lives complete....without love humans quickly sink into despair! But isn't it just amazing how the concept of love magically evolved from living materials (and non-living materials before that) that don't feel this? I'm just in awe. The complexity of evolution is almost god-like!
But it gets better!
Isn't it really neat how all the atoms in our brains have evolved and arranged themselves so we can remember things such as a our multiplication tables or blowing out our candles on our 5th birthday? This is just so NEAT! And the fact that each person on earth has a distinctly different personality is astounding! It doesn't matter that worms or tadpoles or thistles -- or any of our other descendents don't have real personalities....but ours must have evolved somewhere from something -- I have faith in that. And what about humor? I'm sure natural selection somehow eliminated those humans who did not know how to crack a joke because they were unable to reproduce as well. And It doesn't really even matter that animals don't laugh or tell jokes.....But isn't it just a wild stroke of evolutionary luck that we humans happen to be the only creature in the animal kingdom to evolve such bizzare traits?
And isn't it amazing how right and wrong evolved? Some say there is such thing as right and wrong, but I'm not so sure now. It used to confuse me that if there wasn't such thing as right and wrong, then how could humans recognize it? But now I realize if I just refuse to accept the whole concept of right and wrong then it simply must not be there!
And it's just amazing to know that no one is out there who cares for me! It's a heartwarming feeling to know that I was not created...and I was formed in the image of a bacteria or a slime mold. There is no god. Prayer is a joke. My love for my kids is just a evolutionary and accidentlal fluke. The fact that I would take a bullet for my wife and family just shows how delusional I am.
Isn't life wonderful?

I wonder if he thinks the computer is actually a big lie. maybe there is no computer. maybe super is really the only person alive. i hope he doesnt break his glasses when he needs to read his posts on this non-existent message board. there will be no one to repair them. i mean, he can't do it...that would involve the use of science.

Re: Fun with Evolutionists
As I have written earlier, in cells under stress conditions, the prooffreading of DNA duplications fails, which leads to more mutations. It's even got a name: 'Fred' (See http://home.mira.net/~reynella/debate/spetner.htm).

I hate to tell you this but virtually no real biologist believes that copying errors lead to evolution anymore. does anyone else here believe that????? I'd like to see a show of hands.
