You certainly should be....you believing in copying errors fueling evolution equates to a 4-year old believing in the tooth fairy. Would you show me any current molecular biologist who believes that? do you have any actual evidence at all to back up your claim?

In that book, Schwartz hearkens back to earlier theories that suggest that the Darwinian model of evolution as continual and gradual adaptation to the environment glosses over gaps in the fossil record by assuming the intervening fossils simply have not been found yet. Rather, Schwartz argues, they have not been found because they don't exist, since evolution is not necessarily gradual but often sudden, dramatic expressions of change that began on the cellular level because of radical environmental stressors--like extreme heat, cold, or crowding--years earlier.

So all you evolutionists who keep claiming that there are transitional fossils are wrong. There aren't ANY. And since there aren't any transitional fossils, that pretty much destroys any notion of gradualism. And without gradualism, there is no reason to think that lifeforms have been around for millions of years.

Also, Dr. Schwarts says the following:

Environmental upheaval causes genes to mutate

So now...you guys are going to have to show me how monkeys evolved into man by way of the environment causing genes to mutate.

Would you do that for me? Maybe if we stick some humans back in the jungle they'll "mutate" back into apes by, as Dr. Schwarts claims, "by sudden dramatic expression."

First, you should at least spell the guy's name right, especially since you have referred to him (and lost) before.

Second, his views do not dictate reality nor does he speak for all biologists any more than Margulis does.

      Grow up, chicken.

For a fuller answer, see The Modern Synthesis of Genetics and Evolution by Laurence Moran.

      Moran writes:

      2. It recognizes that characteristics are inherited as discrete entities called genes. Variation within a population is due to the presence of multiple alleles of a gene.
      3. It postulates that speciation is (usually) due to the gradual accumulation of small genetic changes. This is equivalent to saying that macroevolution is simply a lot of microevolution.
And not only that, but Moran actually begind his article with:

well those apples are 14 years old.....got anything a bit more currrent?....like a current site or web page from a biologist?

And do you think the fossil record shows phyletic gradualism? Was Gould and all the other PE guys -- past and present -- wrong? Why did they feel the need to create a new version of evolution if the fossil record showed long, gradual lineages leading from one type of animal to another?

I'm not sure there is a point to asking the question that can be logically understood, because Supe isn't attacking the theory of evolution, he's attacking his own poorly-understood parody of the ToE.

You'll be wating for quite some time for that to happen. I backed up all my comments with links from the scientific community.

What? Spud was suspended at CARM? The Christian site? Well, so much for the evolutionist conspiracy to silence its opponents.

hey super.....can you recount some of your family stories or traditions from a mere 500 years ago? You did have ancestors 500 years ago didn't you? Well, tell us a story that great-great-great-great...great-grandpa super used to tell. After that, you can give us some family stories from 12,000BC. Surely you know a few
