    Actually my mother made a more palatable version of Salmon Loaf that worked when was young, except my brother hated fish. Growing up on a farm being feed traditional Maryland and Pennsylvania Dutch food my Dad liked was our salvation. I pitied the city kids after eating at their home.

    Depression era recipes started the trend of nightmarish imagination in coming up with terrible recipes, which dominated or world through World War II up until after the sixties.
