Hooray, more Hearthstone!
"If God has given [his people] such joy now, joy in their faith, in their hope, in love, in the truth of his scriptures, what kind of joy is he preparing for them at the end? If he feeds them like this on the journey, how will he feast them in their homeland?"--Augustine of Hippo

Re: Range Patrol #6: Intersection of Destinies, Part 2
That wouldn't work out in his memories I sort of get the idea that Eidolon was already an immortal, besides in the history of Hearthstone, he says something which places it strongly in the seventh age of Hearthstone.
"It was a time of great hope, but also of great conceit; such that even I fell for a misplaced confidence in my personal affairs, and took a mortal as a bride. But of such things, I cannot speak further here, lest my heart be rent from sorrow." And of course the technological level of that age, and what I can glint from the clothes, it just hints at a much different age than the one where Eidolon broke the seal. Kinda like ye old ANE vs seventeenth
Oh btw, I found a typo as I read through this "The new faiths were moral and philsophical," Seventh age, first paragraph, sixth line.Last edited by Leonhard; June 16th 2007 at 07:13 AM.

I thought about this, and Teal actually may not be far off as to what an initial reaction would be.
If they were told it was a creature from another world, though, they'd likely be amazed by the One's mastery of creation (seeing it as an expression of typological imitation).
Thanks for the typo alert, Leon.

Heh, reminds me of 'Out of The Silent Planet' and 'The Journey to Venus", where the seacreatures on Venus resemble humans, and one of the sentient races on Mars resembles otters.
I was just thinking that Felicity would be a little struck by the irony of watching one of our more dim creatures, when she is supposed to be one of the technical smart creatues in her world. Though lizards aren't that smart now that I think about it.
You're welcome mr. H, its summer vacation and I can finally do fun stuff again. I'm combing the comics through searching for inconsistencies, I've found three rang inconsistencies. One where a rang Sheila holds changes between frames, a minor one where she doesn't catch her rang again. On her old suit she kept her rangs on her back right? Well I've spotted a frame where its gone, though it might have been thrown and not picked up.Thanks for the typo alert, Leon.
I wonder what Sheila would ask if we asked her... "That sonar rang? Oh... hey.. yeah, now that you mention it, we have been short one!"
Oh btw mr. H? Which of the books in the Apologetics Arsenal would you recommend someone who would like a good exposition on the arguments for the case of the resurrection of Jesus?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I assume you'll send me a list when you're through.

I can't recall if it is on there, but the one by Licona and Habermas is the best.Oh btw mr. H? Which of the books in the Apologetics Arsenal would you recommend someone who would like a good exposition on the arguments for the case of the resurrection of Jesus?

"I would join countless numbers of evangelical Protestants and say I have come to know Christ with fulfilling and life-changing effects and daily witness His grace and leadership in my life. But just because God in His grace and mercy has met us where we are and adapted Himself to our unique cultural and religious circumstances in no way means He has abandoned His original plan. God does not contradict Himself. Truth is intolerant, and truth is found in the Church’s living and Holy Tradition. It is my growing conviction that only a strong living Tradition can protect us from the corrosive and destructive forces of modern life, the insidious and deceptive effects of modern pluralism, and the disheartening and confusing proliferation of religious opinions...What are we to do with this "cloud of witnesses," this Holy Tradition through which they live and speak with such clarity and certitude? Well, for me there seems to be only one logical response. I must turn to the Church and its sacred Tradition; I must listen humbly and be instructed. I cannot let God’s marvelous blessings of the past blind me to what I have missed or deter me from that to which He would lead me still. I must return home to Orthodoxy." Rev. Dorraine S. Leonhard has admirably assumed my mantle of annoying JPH by finding typos.

Throws wooden rang at Annabelle (frame 2) catches it again (frame 4)
We don't see where she gets the rang from. She enters the pass without something to carry it in, she might have had it inside her suit. After she catches it, the rang vanishes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When she leaps out of the misty ice fog cover, she is dual wielding both the sonar rang and the wooden rang. We also see her enter the depot room with both. However after she throws the wooden rang, what happened to the sonar rang? It simple disappears, though she might have put it back in its receptical on her back. However this is not seen in http://www.tektoonics.com/rangtoon1/rangtoon1031.html (frame 4).
So what happened to rang?

You were right -- it's under the suit.

I'm redoing that section next and will check it out. When she leaps out of the misty ice fog cover, she is dual wielding both the sonar rang and the wooden rang. Aye Mistress, private Leonhard submits his report.

I checked and rechecked everything now, and it seems there are no further rang related inconsistencies. From now on you can use her 'rang storage wrist computer' as an excuse. In the event of a rang disappearing or changing.
I will go on and look at clothes and people related inconsistencies now.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
