      Drunkeness by hand sanitizer

      Anyone heard of this before? http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/sanitizer.asp

      I just recieved an email from my brother about this and was shocked. Thinking about it though, it makes sense. My kids are past the stage of tasting inedible stuff off their hands, I hope, but still could see tweens and teens using it in a manor they shouldn't.

      Not only is (usually watered down and flavoured so it's more palatable) hand sanitizer very very potent, but look out for your Listerine or other mouthwashes, folks. The alcohol content there's pretty crazy, too!

      I once kissed a girl that had the stomach flu, so I tried a little hand sanitizer on my tongue. Even with just a little bit I thought there was going to be a hole burned in my tongue. I can't imagine drinking enough to get drunk.
