Re: Alumnus for June
I'm leaving Tweb, I can't exist here under the reign of the evil SteveF.

Thanks everybody! I'll make a proper acceptance speech later, now I'm off for a curry!

Re: Alumnus for June
Right, now a proper acceptance speech.
I'd like to say how pleased I am to be voted alumnus; I've been around at TWeb for a few years now and I'm delighted that people appreciate me as a member. This is particularly the case as I was up against some fine TWeb competitors; commiserations to them.
I must thank everyone who voted for me, especially Johnny who did a sterling job in campaigning for me. Bill gets my greatest thanks, both for nominating me and then campaigning hard for my eventual win. Looking at Bill's profile, I notice the following under beliefs:
Quite frankly, I have no idea what any of this means! Indeed there is a lot about which Bill and I will disagree, pretty significant things when you come to think about it. However, this doesn't stop us from being online buddies. I guess thats what I like about TWeb; people with differing beliefs coming together for fun and to learn. So thanks to Bill and fellow TWebbers.Eschatology: Futurist
Ontology: Trinitarian
Soteriology: Molinist
Various: Charismatic , Eternal Torment in Hell , Just War Theorist
Theological Area of Interest: Mormonism
Theological Position Summary: Non-Denominational Charismatic New Covenant Theology Straight Futurist with Molinist sympathies
Finally, though ultimately I'm shocked that you voted me alumnus ahead of Doubting John, I shall do my best to maintain the upstanding traditions of AoTM. Mainly by persecuting Trout."To see a world in a grain of sand,

And eternity in an hour"

Re: Alumnus for June
I never used it anyways.
All it took was to go in once after yxboom used it.
You wouldn't want to experience that smell.
However, I hear that the women's bathroom has padded cushions, 24/7 Oprah, and imported Saudi chocolate..."Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose.
