The Admissions area is only for welcome posts to announce the arrival of a new inmate resident, and we encourage you to leave here and head out into the great big wide world of Tweb as soon as you feel comfortable in your new username.

Be sure to reply to your welcome thread, or introduce yourself if our welcome committee is out to lunch or painting their living room.

  • Greetings (again)

    Hey there TheologyWeb,

I was registered on the old forums as Junia and then as Jack Meyers (I think), but hadn't posted there in years.

A lot's changed for me since then. I got pregnant with my second, divorced my Mormon husband, have been rocking it as a single mom, and am about to finish my master's degree at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. My kids are 9 and 2 now.

Thought I'd check in here. I'm sorry to hear about the data crash. I miss the old forums (no offense to whoever set up the new ones). The larger avatars were fun.

How do you add a signature? Do you have to have a minimum number of posts before that option becomes available to you?

    Hope you are all well!

    Greetings MsJack! Welcome back!
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)

Welcome back! I recall at least the first name. Dee Dee set up the reboot, but checked out after a bit and relinquished ownership to a new group.
Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

              Welcome back!

I believe you have to have 25 posts(?) now.

Figured it's probably to keep people from registering an account and putting spam in their signature.

TheologyWeb was wise to my evil scheme!

Checked out indeed! Left quite a motley crew in charge.

                      Welcome back!

Not looking for hot gossip, but is there a story behind this? She was a pretty prominent, outspoken poster last time I was here.

Deeds had a lot of stuff going on in real life, as did the other original owners. Like you, she entered a new phase of her life and didn't have the time to spend here as she did before. She still visits once in a while.

                            Yup, I totally get that.

I recall that she was going through a divorce, I think c. 2010. Having been through it myself now, nothing but sympathy here.
