I have listened to a ton of things, most of them vampire fiction crap that I won't even bother mentioning but one of them was good that I will post a review of. And I finished The Templar Legacy. I will write a more comprehensive review but it can be summed up in two words. GNOSTIC CRAP.

The author relies upon Pope Leo X (ha!) as inspiration for the whole book. Crap in, crap out. I want that portion of my life back.

I am reading The Irrational Atheist by Vox Day and Lord Foul's Bane by Stephen Donaldson.

I ordered The Gathering Storm by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson the other day. Can't wait for it to arrive ^_^.

Squint your eyes to see clearly, blur reality to make it real, let focus go from your deceiving eyes to know what's been concealed. We've all been blinded. subjects to visual misinformation, a systematic denial of the crystalline. To see the fine grain, to read the hidden words, the context of parallel truth, devoid of fragmentation. Our light-induced image of truth, filtered blank of its substance, as our eyes won't adhere to intuitive lines. Everything examined, separated, one thing at a time. The harder we stare the more complete the disintegration, dissolution. Eyes re-opened, reasoning focalized, receptors activated. Perspectives distorted, the ladder beyond our grasp, the twin-headed serpent forever hidden. Where's the true knowledge, where engines of the sane & insanity merge, the clarity, the unity? Reality untouchable, transparent, invisible to our fixed, restricted fields of vision. Existence taken for granted, absolute. Possessed, owned, controlled, by the common sense-infected rational gaze. Onward forever we walk among the ignorant, never stray from the common lines.

Darth Ovious: Am I your friend mononoke?

Darth Ovious: yes I would like you as a friend mononoke?

I am listening to Ayn Rand The Virtue of Selfishness. I disagree with her self-contradictory hatred of religion quite obviously and am quite shocked at her hatred of altruism of all kinds, but amongst all the dung, I find a pearl or too. I am more interested in her economic theory rather than her social ones. She must have been a piece of work to have been married to.

I just got The Language of God by Francis Collins in the mail. Just finished reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. Thanks to AP for that one.

I haven't decided what to read next. My mother-in-law lent me Mere Christianity, so I'm considering that one.

i enjoyed her Fountainhead as enjoyable fiction. i disagree with her on some aspects. after reading her novel, i did a search on youtube of her interviews, with mike wallace then donahue when she was older. she was charmed by donahue...someone asked her why she would bother helping her husband if she was against helping others (i.e. according to her philosophy, her husband shouldn't rely on her to assist in his career, he should be doing it completely on his own)....her response was that she's helping him for selfish reasons b/c in helping him she is ultimately helping herself (to a more prestigious lifestyle i imagine)....i think they're coming out with a movie from her novel atlas shrugged shortly

I am reading The Hole in Our Gospel, by Richard Stearns, President of World Vision, U.S.

He had attained the status of sought after CEO, consecutively, of several major corporations. He left his position, because he was asked to become the President of World Vision, U.S., giving up his high salary and benefits to serve in one of the largest humanitarian aid and relief organizations in the world.

Stearns shares the lessons he learn, many from "the least of these," and tells of the huge hole in our good news, when we say we love the lost and poor and dying world, but so few of us do anything about feeding, clothing, educating and supporting those in dire need on this planet.

He tells of his travels and the first-hand knowledge of how a great many things can be accomplished if all of us who follow Christ will do what Jesus told us to do to help these who are also created in God's image, as we are. A great book, well written. I highly recommend it.

The End From The Beginning by Ty Aldrich is a revealing of what is behind today's headlines and world events from the Bible's prophecies. The religion of Babylon is Islam. Their military is funded and provisioned by Persia, which is Iran. The "Last Remaining Superpower" is fashioned after the democracy invented by Greece. How can this scenario not come to blows of eschatological importance, in this time of the end of this age? There can be only One outcome.
Learn what to do. The End From The Beginning is available at www.lulu.com/content/2614100
Listen to free 24 hour prophetic worship at Elijahstreams.com .............................The Cross The Arthur Blessit Story now available on DVD.
