Any billionaire who hasn't had one of their ventures fail is an anomaly.

Careful. There's a liberal 'round these parts who will call you a plagiarist for copying/pasting a list you didn't compile yourself.

Trump steaks (and others on that list) isn't a business, it's a brand. Companies discontinue products all the time, if a failed product is a failed business then a lot of very successful businesses are "failures". I know multi-millionaires who fail with 9/10 products they brand and resell but are still millionaires because the stuff they do sell sells really well. Only an ignoramus would call them "failed businessmen".

Anyway, afaik Trump still sells Trump steaks at his hotels and restaurants, so the brand isn't even actually dead.

Yeah, I guess that's why he has had to file for bankruptsy 6 times his father bailing him out another, and who knows yet what he owes the Russians and Deutsche Bank to whom he had to turn when American banks would no longer lend to him.

There's no difference between the two. A brand is a business.

uh no. A brand is just a product line at best and a logo at the least.

A business haven have many brands.

Not if they only have one product.

Same thing. The company isn't the same as the brand. The brand is what the company sells. A brand is a (usually) trademarked identifying mark used to identify a specific product line. It can also refer to the product line itself ("brand of wallets")

I can't find a complete list of businesses or companies that Trump owns or has a stake in, but the number I keep coming across is that it's around 500, so rough math says that he has a 95% business success rate. Not bad. And that's accepting your shaky premise that a product counts as a business.

Brands don't exist without businesses. Sorry.

You don't have even the most basic understanding of how business and branding works.

I actually do, having owned a business which had several brands.

A brand is the product of a business. Sorry.

I apologize if this basic fact offends you, but... wait, no I don't apologize. Your ignorance isn't my fault in the least.
