Companies discontinue products all the time, if a failed product is a failed business then a lot of very successful businesses are "failures". I know multi-millionaires who fail with 9/10 products they brand and resell but are still millionaires because the stuff they do sell sells really well. I can't find a complete list of businesses or companies that Trump owns or has a stake in, but the number I keep coming across is that it's around 500, so rough math says that he has a 95% business success rate.
