California Senate Bill SB-179 would delete the requirement for somebody in California seeking a new birth certificate to be required to prove their gender change, and simply declare the gender identity of their choice from "female, male or nonbinary".

Further, it requires that California DMV issue driver's licenses showing the gender identity the driver chooses, again, "female, male or nonbinary".

ETA: From what I can tell, this is now California Law.

I am wondering when they have to deal with putting men into women's prisons and vice versa because of this nonsense. Or will they just have co-ed prisons?
