      Bless her little heart.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

yeah the one I linked to previously was directly from NPR. It wasn't doctored. It was just stupid.

Yes, ignore the ignorance on display of the fact she’s over her head and simply doesn’t understand the issues involved. Do you care to address what I said now or will you ignore it for a few more pages?

More like focus away from our posted FAQ where we made imbeciles of ourselves and actually explained what we want (and what several Dumbocrat presidential hopefulls stood behind) and onto the "no specifics" worthless piece of proposed legislation.

You're confusing "MWH per year" with "MW", they are very very different units.

A MW is a measure of how much energy the turbine produces per second in optimal wind conditions. A MWH per year is average total energy production over the course of a year. A wind turbine with 1.5MW rated capacity tends to average 5000 MWH per year depending on exactly much the wind blows. Your subsequent math is out by a factor of ~3333x as a result.

So 3,911,000,000 MWH (your figure) would require 2,607,333,333 turbines. 2.6 BILLION wind turbines.
782,200 is the correct answer given the above, not 2.6 billion.

"In the United States, the direct land use for wind turbines comes in at three-quarters of an acre per megawatt of rated capacity. That is, a 2-megawatt wind turbine would require 1.5 acres of land."
                    http://www.ewea.org/wind-energy-basics/faq/

So assuming 1.5 acres per wind turbine just for simplicity sake, 3,910,999,999.5 acres. 6,110,937.5 Square miles.
Similarly the correct answer given the above is 1.1 million acres or 1833 square miles, aka 1.6% of Arizona's land area. Of course, putting wind turbines out to sea seems quite popular, so you don't need land area that way at all.

Yep, there were and are. The right-wing is in full on lying and make stuff up mode. I posted an example from twitter of deliberately falsified GND text. The insane right-wing have been claiming everything from Flintstone cars, to recycled urine, to no cars, to no planes. See the thread OP for an example of the crazy.

the FAQ shared with NPR and posted on Ocasio-Cortez's website
Was an old version of an obsolete document that was meant to be redrafted, not released, and has obviously been deleted from the website. Unfortunately the right-wing are such losers that they're incapable of actually dealing with facts and the real text of the Resolution being put to congress (it's only 6 pages, mostly bullet points, even you guys should be capable of reading that). Instead they make themselves look like drooling imbeciles as they share fictional ideas with each other about things the Green New Deal isn't.

As far as alternative battery methods go, I quite like this one:

It stores energy as gravitational potential energy, by using the electricity to raise heavy objects (e.g. barrels of concrete) when it is 'charging', and then draws the energy back out of the system by lowering the heavy objects (and generating power from lowering them similarly to how hydroelectric power is generated from the weight of water flowing downwards) when it is 'discharging'. Advantages include that the system doesn't degrade over time, uses existing and fairly basic technology (concrete blocks and cranes) and that it's pretty efficient:

Stacking concrete blocks is a surprisingly efficient way to store energy
This Swiss-American startup is doing its first commercial deployment of this system in India later this year

There is no such official document.

Possibly you are referring to one of the early draft of an old planned document that was going to have that title and was briefly released in error and then immediately withdrawn, possibly you are referring to something the right-wing made up, I'm not sure. Please concentrate on the actual public text of the resolution presented to congress not to fictional or errant or irrelevant documents. The above text is what Democratic members of congress are officially advocating and publicly signing on to. Any other documents have no relevant status other than whether they do or don't accurately explain what is in the actual text of the Resolution above. It's only 6 pages of bullet points so is a fairly easy read, and I suggest you read it.
