Jake likes to lay on his back and chew on his toys. sometimes he holds them in his front paws while he does it. Then he will stand up, shake them really hard and let them fly across the room. Then chase after it. He keeps himself pretty well entertained.

It's hilarious watching Jake after Mrs CP gives him a bath. Jake will RACE through the house, throwing himself onto the carpet, rolling over and over, then lay on his back and twist and grind himself onto the carpet like he's trying to rub all the 'clean' off, then roll over some more, scootching himself on his side across the carpet, and that will go on for at least 5 minutes!
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

I know of a dog that does that, too - except her hind legs are upright while her front section is on its side.

Dogs sound like they do dumb things.

None of our cats ever behaved in those ways.

And I have tried, to no avail, explaining to Mrs CP that Jake does NOT like his bed washed. Just about the time he gets it smelling like him, she'll say, "I washed his bed because it smelled like dog"?

I love her to death, but this is the same woman who, having come home from an out of town women's conference, and seeing myself and my daughter also arriving home "dressed nice", asked, "where have YOU guys been?" I said "a funeral". She asked, "Oh, somebody die?"

Jenny just looked at me and said, "You take this one, Dad", and went into the house.

              His bed "smells like dog".

Cat's don't have personalities. Or souls.

I heard they like to lay on top of you at night while you are sleeping and suck out your soul!

Camera shows cat trying to ‘murder’ owner while he sleeps

There’s nothing scarier than finding out that there’s something in your house trying to kill you. Unless it’s just your pet cat.

A Twitter user claimed he was having trouble breathing in his sleep, so he set up a camera to see what was going on at night. What he saw, however, was somehow both adorable and also terrifying (as only cats can pull off).

Luis Navarro posted on the social media site three pictures taken while he was sleeping. His cat can be seen getting closer to his face until it eventually just sits directly on his face, blocking his nose and mouth. It’s unclear if the cat is actively trying to murder him or just getting cozy, but it does look very comfortable in some of the photos.

Cats certainly have personalities. They have exactly as much souls as dogs do.
