Someone had to do it eventually. My 10-year-old self says "What an original, outstanding concept! Where do I purchase these fine items?" My 23-year-old self says precisely the same thing but realizes that many of the contemporary philosophers he reads would find it less than amusing and so tries not to get *too* excited.

Seriously though, any philosophy major with a decent sense of humor has to just love this stuff. These things would be all over my Christmas wish list if they were real.........

They really need to come out with a 'Philosophical Powers' line that pays special attention to the famous solipsists in the history of philosophy. Of course, you could never actually play with their dolls since they would be the only things that existed. In fact, "you" would have to decide which doll was real and which dolls were just mental projections of the real doll. But boy, what a great way to rip people off who don't even exist!

Speaking of solipsism, that reminds me of a hilarious (well, for philosophy geeks) quote I found from Bertrand Russell:

As against solipsism it is to be said, in the first place, that it is psychologically impossible to believe, and is rejected in fact even by those who mean to accept it. I once received a letter from an eminent logician, Mrs. Christine Ladd Franklin, saying that she was a solipsist, and was surprised that there were no others. Coming from a logician, this surprise surprised me.
