Put whatever you want, but here's some suggestions. If you have any ideas for additions etc,. post them here ;).

Print out the material found at the following links, place them in a three-ring binder, and use them to aid you in your evangelism of various cults, sects, denominations etc,. You will also find some of these useful for other areas of apologetics as well.

324 Messianic Prophecies. View the printable version here.

The Biblical Basis of the Doctrine of the Trinity: An Outline Study
Robert M. Bowman, Jr.
. View the printable version here.

From the introduction:

It is often alleged that the doctrine of the Trinity is not a biblical doctrine. While the word Trinity is not in the Bible, the substance of the doctrine is definitely biblical.

The following outline study presents an overview of the biblical basis of the doctrine of the Trinity. Comments on the texts have been kept to a bare minimum; the emphasis is on the many biblical texts themselves (about 700 references are listed, including references from 26 of the 27 books of the New Testament).

The Deity of Christ and the Jehovah's Witnesses' New World Translation

From the introduction:

This article presents some of the best scriptural evidence of Christ's Deity as it exists in the Jehovah's Witnesses' New World Translation (NWT). Before reading this article Jehovah's Witnesses may deny that the NWT contains even a hint of Christ's Deity. They are constantly instructed by the Watchtower Society to reject believing in Christ's Godhood. When scriptural points are raised from other translations, Jehovah's Witnesses always have the excuse, "It's not translated correctly in that Bible." When the same questions are raised and answered from the NWT they can no longer avoid the answers with such ease. I sincerely hope you will consider the questions raised in this study.

If you are a Christian I want to emphasize that this booklet is intended as a guide to marking your own Bible. Use it to build a cross reference system in the margins of your Bible at the exact point specific scriptures are used. Doing this will put the benefits of this booklet to the best use. It places the tools you need within immediate reach when witnessing to Jehovah's Witnesses.

Excerpts from the writings of the ECF which demonstrate their belief in the deity of Christ etc,.

References used in the WTS publication "Should You Believe in the Trinity" Pamphlet. You can view the actual pamphlet they use here.

From the introduction:

After spending many hours trying to trace down the quotes from the Watchtower's "Should You Believe in the Trinity?" booklet, we decided to call the Watchtower's Writing Department to see if they would help. After three tries, they sent us their reference list. We desire that as many ministries as possible would have access to this list, in hope that it will show Jehovah's Witnesses that many of the quotes are actually misquotes or taken out of context.

Print this and file.

From the site:

United Nations Disassociates Watchtower:
Fax from UN regarding their
involvement dated 10/9/2001,
after numerous former Witnesses query UN and Watchtower denies improprieties. Click for larger picture, text version here. to verify authenticity.

Babylon the Great rides the scarlet-colored wild beast.

Print this photo-copy from the "Watchtower" [1963, p. 577] on the back of the above in order to demonstrate the WTS's former position regarding the UN.

As an extra, you can read the about the whole story here and here.

Now all we need is more to add to it. Something simplistic that can be used as a quick reference when the JWs come to your door.

AV, compare Isaiah 45:23 and context with Phil. 2:5-11.

I think you will find an interesting comparison.

Oh yeah, it certainly is . Phil2:9-11 really puts the icing on the cake when discussing Phil2. It's a proof text in and of itself. The fact that it concludes the chapter is only that much better. Have you read Richard Baukham's 'God Crucified'? It makes some great points on this very thing. E.g. Note the word "therefore" which links verses 8 and 10. It also has a good deal to say on the "exalted YHWH" in Isaiah and how this relates to Phil2.

Since you brought up Phil2, what do you think about Hoover's 'The harpagmos enigma'? Someone found a copy and is sending it to me in the mail. Hopfully I'll be able to learn something from it.

-Thanks and God bless you-

I have been having a discussion on an atheistic bulletin board about the fact that Christianity is simply a mutilation of Judaism and that since the Jews do not buy Jesus as the Messiah that it must not be true. It is laughable that atheists would use one religion to disprove another! How is it logical to use something that you don't believe to disprove something else that they don't believe?

Anyway, one of the things that they have hit on is that the concept of the Trinity is not an Old Testament concept and that since it is not in the Torah that it is false....therefore, Christianity isn't true....yada, yada, yada.

I found a very interesting site that disproves their notion and thought that this would be a great place to share it. I hope that this helps for all who run into Jews or atheists attemting to use Judaism against you.
