I take offense to the comment that all of Pepper's proposals were a way for getting access to him.

Oh great, a new episode. Interesting start, I have no idea where it might be going, which makes it all the more entertaining.

In the last frame, did you mean "direct action"?

Good heavens. Darth, you didn't tell me you were THAT serious with her....

I think you forgot to affix enough postage to get the proposal through the transwarp dimensional conduit.

I did already mention somewhere that Eidolon will be giving an oral history of Hearthstone at the gathering, so we can look to that upcoming. Also probably obvious that we'll see a developing Brom-Sheila relationship.

Near the end of the story, though, I have a bomb to drop that might just scare the gedweezers out of everybody....

In the last frame, did you mean "direct action"?
Yep -- thanks. Fixed.

Thank you! Your compliments will be forwarded to my fashion consultant.

Oh...wait....

I'll be rotating between the three storylines (RP #6, RP #1, Eidolon bonus story) for a while.

Sorry....no. It''ll be about three weeks. Two reasons...one is that I will be away for about a week soon, and I'll tell more about that later when I'll also be letting some other news out.

Second reason is that I want to do a little more promotion of the Hearthstone stories, and because I'm not happy with the older version of RP #1, I want to fix it up first. (ST #1 will also get a facelift, though not as extensive; and on up through ST #4, less each time.) Also want to give subscribers some stuff to read, so the bonus stories will be in the mix from now on.

Those decorations that the Ketterlings are putting up resemble Chinese Spring Festival.

.

(Note: Am I allowed to say "Congratulations" in Chinese [something people say a lot during Spring Festival]? I know that certain forums don't allow any words from a foreign language to be spoken in case of cussing or insults.)

This is a great installment, JP. I'm looking forward to seeing how things unfold--though it's a shame it'll take a while before the next one gets up.

On the second page, last panel, do you mean for Brom to say that the covenant proposals that Pepper's gotten "were just 'back door' proposals" etc., etc.?

"Yeah, what JB said!" - Kenny

Away in Ireland from 6 August - 20 August. Also now intermittently blogging at Iron in Fire about Christian spirituality and the Christian life.

"We cannot worship the suffering God today and ignore him tomorrow. We cannot eat and drink the body and blood of the passionate and compassionate God today, and then refuse to live passionately and compassionately tomorrow. If we say or sing, as we so often do, 'Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit', we thereby commit ourselves, in love, to the work of making his love known to the world that still stands so sorely in need of it. This is not the god the world wants. This is the God the world needs."

Oh, well I had to ask.

I know it will be worth the wait.

I guess I could read previous segments again while I wait.

Funny considering I designed them on the spot. But who knows where they do their shopping?

I don't know of any rule against.

Look at it this way....if this all works out, I'll be able to spend more time doing this.

That said....upon reflection, since the next Eidolon installment is just three pages, and the next RP #1 revamp will just be artistic reworks with new narrative...I *might* be able to get up one more installment of this story in two weeks...

On the second page, last panel, do you mean for Brom to say that the covenant proposals that Pepper's gotten "were just 'back door' proposals" etc., etc.?
Nah, it's supposed to say. "&*^%$#!" Thanks.
