Considering the context (theologyweb) I am presuming that I am dealing with fellow theists. This is relatively a new thing for me. I have had several years experience in largely atheist forums, but I am new to theist ones.
Personally, I am usually highly suspiciois of dichotomies, nonetheless I am presenting one in the form of a poll:
As a theist, I claim that,
(1) I have a pretty good idea why God created the Universe.
(2) i have no idea why God created the Universe.
If you are an intellectually honest theist, it should be a relatively easy task to choose between the dichotomy presented, and I should expect that, this same intellectual honesty would lead you to respond as to why you choose as you did.
Sincerely,
