Here is a one-stop Gospel challenge: the exclusive “way, truth and life” in Jesus Christ to prove or disprove.

Only at the end of the “hard way” of total self-denial can one find the “narrow gate” of Jesus Christ’s diacritical death --"death-life continuum" on the cross or the “key” inside of which alone there is “life in all its fullness!”

This is where one should “ask to receive; seek to find; and knock for the door to open”. Your life will never be the same again!

Is this possible for a living human being?

What do you mean by self-denial? Do you mean punishing yourself physically or what?

One's own efforts to do whatever does not prove or disprove anything.
