Ark of Christian martyrs to save souls from impending atomic holocaust.
Around our cyclone prone Indian seashores, there are concrete cyclone shelters on high stilts. During the recent devastating cyclone in Orissa, many perished as they did not heed the cyclone warning. The Christian people, obedient and generally poor, heeded and were saved. Well -off, doubting nonChristians hesitated to leave their belongings. But when the 5o feet high waves rushed upon the land whipped by 300kpm wind, they got no chance. Even those nearer the shelters coming to it at the last moment could not be saved as the doors were automatically closed.
Same thing also happened during Noah’s time. Certainly Noah tried to save them but they jeered him as mad. When the flood struck there was no chance.
Nowadays they don’t take soul’s death as seriously as body death. But soul death matters; not body death as that will happen anyway. Soul is never destroyed but the personality is destroyed, something of which we see in mad people. Then the disorganized soul particles remain to suffer in eternal separation pain. It is far more terrible than body pain as we see among the demised people's souls possessing living people.
Now a greater worldwide flood of fire is coming as nations are increasing their atomic weapons goaded by escalating hatred and violence among the populace. There is no chance of stopping it. When it will strike, the heat-wave and hate-wave will destroy all body and soul. Only those who enter into the community of martyrs can save their souls from the hate-wave, if not from heat wave. Then hate can’t disintegrate their soul to destroy the personality by removing love, which bond their soul parts. Off course, they shall not flee, if Christ don’t will it, but shall try to salvage souls even at the last moment.

There have been quite a few, actually.
There were the Nazis, but also Stalin.. Pol Pot... Rwanda... Bosnia....
and that's just the 20th century.

And of course there remains the most silent and unnoticed holocaust of all, perfectly legal on most fronts now, from which a river of blood has poured silently down drains the world over...the ongoing harvest of unborn children.

Interestingly, the original meaning of the word "holocaust" ( two Greek words combined, to mean wholly burnt) was animal sacrifice, a burnt offering offered to God.

Not a burnt offering to G-d. Burnt offerings to gods - Greek gods. The reference is to the pagan practice of sacrificing animals to idols.
We prefer the term Shoah (שואה).
History scholars in the 60s appropriated the word holocaust to describe the Shoah for reasons I can't fathom knowing its etymology. Although, there was a precedent in history: The slaughter of Jews in the early 12th Century by Christians was referred to as a "holocaust" - probably because of the total destruction of every man, woman, child and animal in the Jewish villages. They even burned the houses and buildings to the ground.

Actually the best survival rate was among the more primitive tribes that carried with them the oral legends of previous typhoons and understood the warning signs.
At least one village returned from complete devastation with one more person born during the tidal wave.
The rest is a rant.

Well, let us look at a slice of word history.
WORD HISTORY Totality of destruction has been central to the meaning of holocaust since it first appeared in Middle English in the 14th century, used in reference to the biblical sacrifice in which a male animal was wholly burnt on the altar in worship of God. Holocaust comes from Greek holokauston (“that which is completely burnt”), which was a translation of Hebrew ‘ōlâ (literally “that which goes up,” that is, in smoke). In this sense of “burnt sacrifice,” holocaust is still used in some versions of the Bible. In the 17th century the meaning of holocaust broadened to “something totally consumed by fire,” and the word eventually was applied to fires of extreme destructiveness. In the 20th century holocaust has taken on a variety of figurative meanings, summarizing the effects of war, rioting, storms, epidemic diseases, and even economic failures. Most of these usages arose after World War II, but it is unclear whether they permitted or resulted from the use of holocaust in reference to the mass murder of European Jews and others by the Nazis. This application of the word occurred as early as 1942, but the phrase the Holocaust did not become established until the late 1950s. Here it parallels and may have been influenced by another Hebrew word, šô’â (“catastrophe,” in English, Shoah). In the Bible šô’â has a range of meanings including “personal ruin or devastation” and “a wasteland or desert.” Šô’â was first used to refer to the Nazi slaughter of Jews in 1939, but the phrase haš-šô’â (“the catastrophe”) became established only after World War II. Holocaust has also been used to translate ḥurbān (“destruction”), another Hebrew word used to summarize the genocide of Jews by the Nazis.

Materialists are sure to define our spiritual talks as rants. We are used to it. Our main objective to save our soul, not body- is foolishness to them. My atheist intellectual father also called my talks as demented rants. But near death he came to believe in soul and God and gained mental peace by praying. I hope the same for you too, brother!

Yes, and should you decide to actually look up those biblical references, you will find they are referring to pagan offerings to their gods.
NOT Ha Shem!
Shoah is the preferred term from a Jewish perspective. The use of holocaust is an unfortunate result of historians ignorant (or uncaring) of the offensive connotation of associating the practice of pagans with the near genocide of the Jewish race.
It is a small matter, however, and most Jews don't get their panties in a bunch when the word is used. Hell, the NYC museum uses the word (although, as a sub-heading)!
I just thought you might like to know another perspective.
My bad.

This holocaust should be taken seriously as it will be the end of the civilized world. It is the continuation and consummation of the heavenly war we made against God, the Love-humility (Rev12-7)
