I think the first time I asked that question was when I was 18. It was more like 'What am I to do about this messed up world?' Eventually I began looking into my own heart, and found that the mess was inside as well as outside. Though I could not fix the world, though it is not entirely beyond me to try ... I think the words of Jesus brought me to a place where not only did I begin to know what to do about my little problem ... Seeing as we are all so unique, there are no easy answers...but this One has brought me great comfort and balance.

You don't actually exist in any autonamous sense. The self is a construct on the basis of the reflection or image of self that can be read from the reactions, responses, and discourse of others. In short, it is a simulacrum and the very fact that you think in a particular language like "English" is just more evidence of this deep non-existence.

Not everyone who asks that sort of question has to be a broken hearted teenager...actually it might have been something a lot worse !
