On Friday, April 2nd, Dr. James White and Dr. Richard Hopkins will discuss whether temples are consistent with New Testament Christianity.

Dr. Richard R. Hopkins served as an attorney for over 20 years in Southern California. He is the author of Biblical Mormonism and How Greek Philosophy Corrupted the Christian Concept of God. Dr. Hopkins also owns Horizon Publishing, an LDS publishing company.

Dr. James White is the director of Alpha and Omega Ministries, a Christian apologetics organization based in Phoenix, Arizona. He is the author of more than twenty books, including Letters to a Mormon Elder and The Same Sex Controversy, a professor, has engaged in approximately fifty public, theological debates, and is an elder of the Phoenix Reformed Baptist Church.

Both debates will be held in the Fine Arts Auditorium (bottom floor of the Fine Arts Museum) on the University of Utah campus directions (http://www.christpres.net/dbinstr.htm), each beginning promptly at 7:00 PM. There is no cost to attend, and no offering or collection of any kind will be taken.
