Tammy Faye Has Lung Cancer

I was never a PTL fan, but I kind of wondered what happened to Tammy Faye. The last I heard of her she was doing some kind of reality show/ house party with Ron Jeremy (he is an "adult films" director who has also starred in movies of that genre.) From the pic below it is apparent she is still an aficionado of ankle-biting dogs.

It made me sad to learn she has lung cancer (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2004/03/19/entertainment/main607289.shtml) though. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. What's even more strange is I wonder if she smoked? I mean not everyone who gets lung cancer is a smoker but most are.

I guess the moral lesson here if there is one is don't smoke.

The former televangelist's wife and the porn king will live in the house and act as hosts for 11 days. Okay, I'm a little embarassed, but I watched the show a couple of times (I like Eric Estrada--such a nice man). It was a little wierd, but Tam-Tam was very sweet, actually, she became one of the favorite characters on the show. There was lots of debachery, some fornication--but Tam-Tam would respectfully decline to participate.

I've heard the film "The Eyes of Tammy Faye" is excellent (this info coming to me from my uber-cultured art-buff friends). But I haven't seen it.

It's a shame that she is sick, she's a very sweet lady.

I might not agree with her theology and the ankle-biting dogs are creepy (there are creatures meant to be that size, they're called cats and they do not have their hair styled or wear clothes) but she's had a tragic life.
I pray that in Christ she will find healing, whether it be physical or emotional and spiritual- for God knows her greatest need.

Back in March. It's sad. It's inoperable so she has to have chemo and will likely lose her hair. Losing one's hair is hard enough for a dude, but it is tragic for a woman.

I saw her on Larry King Live a couple of weeks ago. I dunno what their theologies were on PTL or anything like that, I just remember them being on and Jim getting into trouble. She always seemed sweet.
