A poem for Christians...

Well everybody, I wrote a poem and had a desire to share it in hope that it may encourage somebody or be of some positive affect...

Your word is a light in the darkness
A beacon of hope in the calamity of this world
It leads the way through a forest of peril and sin
I stumble
I fall, over my own temptation
Only because I ignore the light
My guide to safety I cast away
Yet it pursues me
Its wisdom I cannot escape
Its knowledge politely knocks at the door of my mind
And I ignore the light

Yet it pursues me
As I trek through the dark forest of peril and sin

And I thirst
And I hunger
And the light is not only light
It is my bread of life
Yet my soul nor my body can live on bread alone
Water
Living water
My soul thirsts for living water
Through the darkness it longs to drink
And the light, It leads my path
It leads me to the flowing spring
The cascading falls of water, living water
And I long to drink, my soul thirsts
Yet my sin bars my entrance
It is the obstacle in my path
With His power, I will break through it
I will defeat the obstacle
My soul will be filled, I will live
Eternally I will live
Forever I will praise
Forever I will worship
I will drink and be filled

i have to say that poem is awesome and i really enjoyed reading it a lot. you have so much passion for christ and i admire your faith and trust in him. you have a talent with words, conor and i'm glad i took time to read that. have an awesome year at Masters and may God bless you in everything you do. by the way, i plan on going to Master's after i graduate so i look forward to seeing you there...
