(ISAIAH 58:1) Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a
trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. (KJV)
Trumpet sounds, as Jesus cries out on the cross, the Lord descends as Jesus descends into hell, and we are changed or converted as sottish children by God's word.
(JEREMIAH 4:19) My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war. (KJV)
Jesus as He cries out as His heart ruptures on the cross.
(JEREMIAH 4:20) Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the
whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my
curtains in a moment. (KJV)
Jesus made all things cursed, even the earth, destroyed in Christ, God's word like as a fire in Jeremiah 23:29, Earth destroyed by fire. Curtains spoiled is the Veil in the temple ripped, In a MOMENT (Paul's Moment, or twinking of an eye. the day as 7 eyes in Revelation)
(JEREMIAH 4:21) How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet? (KJV)
Jesus still crying out on the cross which is the standard.
(JEREMIAH 4:22) For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge. (KJV)
The people converted as children, this is the first picture, the day as 3 pictures, 1=wisdom, 2=understanding, 3=knowledge, they do not have the second and third picture yet.
(JEREMIAH 4:23) I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. (KJV)
Looking at the Dead Body of Christ, this is the creation story. The heavens have no light because the light of the world just descended into hell

(2THESSALONIANS 2:3) Let no man deceive you by any means: for that
day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and
that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (KJV)
(2THESSALONIANS 2:4) Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all
that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God
sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. (KJV)
The Falling away first is when all deserted Jesus the day of the cross. Isaiah 53:6 shows all iniquity has been placed on Jesus. See Jesus with the sin of the World upon Himself, That is why God's eyes which are purer then to look upon iniquity could not look at Jesus the day of the cross when all prophecies are fulfilled.
Jesus was given 12 Disciples and Himself. Jesus is the one who has to go into hell, Job 33:27/28 is a prophecy that shows Judas does not go into hell.
(JOB 33:27) He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and
perverted that which was right, and it profited me not; (KJV)
(JOB 33:28) He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and
his life shall see the light. (KJV)
Jesus exaulted Himself above all that is CALLED CALLED CALLED God, For they were not seeing God in Truth, Nor were they worshipping God correctly.
Jesus the day of the cross is AS GOD. Dead part of the day, He is as the ANGEL of the LORD.
(ZECHARIAH 12:8) In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants
of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be
as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of
the Lord before them. (KJV)
The Falling away had to be BEFORE THIS:
(MATTHEW 28:18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (KJV)
(ISAIAH 9:7) Of the increase of his government and peace there
shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to
order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from
henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will
perform this. (KJV)
His government and peace has grown since Jesus rose from the grave on the third day, There can be no falling away now, that would be a decrease.
It is ESTABLISHED the day of the cross which is "FOR EVER" a day taken out of time.

One small hole... 2 Thess was written after Christ's death (by about 30 years), and Paul is talking about a future event.

Michael.
Paul was speaking of a future event, But the Spirit in Paul was showing the order of events, and that shows it already happened.
Jesus had to fulfill every jot and tittle of the Old Testament prophecies concerning Him, And the Rapture is seen in Old Testament prophecies so It had to be fulfilled.
(LUKE 18:31) Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them,
Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by
the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished. (KJV)
(ISAIAH 26:19) Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body
shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy
dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
(KJV)
Isaiah 26:19 concerns Jesus, And this shows the Rapture. Them leaving with Jesus. this had to be fulfilled with the RESURRECTION on Easter morning. We did not have to see bodies, Spirits can rise with Jesus, God foretold it.
(HOSEA 6:2) After two days will he revive us: in the third day he
will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. (KJV)
(HOSEA 6:3) Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord:
his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto
us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. (KJV)
Again a prophecy concerning Jesus which had to be fulfilled. And the third day he raises them up. Same picture, Isn't it?
(ZECHARIAH 9:11) As for thee also, by the blood of thy covenant I
have sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water.
(KJV)
AGAIN a prophecy concerning Jesus, Which had to be fulfilled, Those in hell being raised with Jesus, Another of the SAME PICTURE, The Rapture happend on the Third day. PAUL WAS WRONG
Jesus had to fulfill Isaiah, Had to fulfill Zechariah, Had to fulfill Hosea, He did not have to fulfill what Paul said. Paul also thought Jesus would physically return in His life time, Didn't He? Paul also spoke of returning from ROME, Didn't He?

Ken,
Are you a King James ONLY fan?

Richbee.
I have studied the Scripture heavily for over 20 years, 20 years ago the Computer programs were just coming out. The Pocket Electronic Bibles, Etc. Even the Concordances were mainly KJV. So access to the KJV of the Bible was easily attainable.
I noticed I was having a problem searching for verse which I knew the Words of. I saw it was using different versions, that was causing the problem. Looking for the words pharased one way, but in the wrong version.
I also noticed that a lot of the newer versions were Parapharse Bibles. The Writters taking every verse, and rewording them, The Object is that they then can OWN the Copyright. They can not Copyright the KJV. They may copyright the Stlye, or footnotes, But the Actual text, they can not copyright.
God speaks in Similitudes, God spoke through Jesus in Parables:
(HOSEA 12:10) I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have
multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the
prophets. (KJV)
So if the REwritter did not know the true meaning of the Verse, they often misswrote the passage. A Parapharse Bible version is WORTHLESS.
There are mistranslations in the KJV. If I find a verse that contridicts the others, I use a Revised Standard version to see what it says. They stuck with the KJV text, But searched the translations to be sure they were done correctly as far as they also could see.
Translating the Hebrew and Greek in 1611 had to be quite a chore. We have learned more about who the words were used in those times to help with an accurate Translation. So there will always be additions to what is seen.
The main thing is seeing what God is saying, and knowing that the writters of the verses added punctuation as they thought it was suppost to read. Not always correctly.
Here is an example: Written as a QUESTION.
(LUKE 22:48) But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son
of man with a kiss? (KJV)
It was not a QUESTION, It was a COMMAND.
"Judas, Betrayest thou the Son of Man with a kiss!"
(PSALMS 2:12) Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from
the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all
they that put their trust in him. (KJV)
The Kiss was part of the Prophecies, It HAD to be done, Judas Hesitated, So Jesus commanded Him.
So I stick pretty much with the KJV, That way I have one set of verses to go by. One set to search, and it is much easier this way. And the KJV is a Beautiful version once you get used to the King James 1611 English.
But for those who think they like other versions best. What version does the 23rd Psalms sound best in?
(PSALMS 23:1) The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. (KJV)
(PSALMS 23:2) He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he
leadeth me beside the still waters. (KJV)
(PSALMS 23:3) He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of
righteousness for his name's sake. (KJV)
(PSALMS 23:4) Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and
thy staff they comfort me. (KJV)
(PSALMS 23:5) Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of
mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup Runneth over.
(KJV)
(PSALMS 23:6) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the
days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for
ever. (KJV)

Unfortunately, textual criticism have exposed some problems with the KJV translation, including Mark 16:9-20, Matt 23:14, and several other instances.
Now, that's not to say that the KJV is a poor translation, because it is not. However, later translations take advantage of a larger body of sources, and use 20th century English, rather than 17th Century.

The Kiss was part of the Prophecies, It HAD to be done, Judas Hesitated, So Jesus commanded Him.
Wow wow wow, so Jesus ends up commanding Judas to betray him? Is obeying a command by the Lord anything but pure rightiousness?
