I guess the title says it all. So if anyone knows of a good defence against the gnostic religion today, let me know.
Thanks,

A_Theist's sig line:"From an infallible God to an infallible book (to an infallible reader of the book?) is a gigantic step."Rubbish to the first. It's only because that Hartshorne half-head doesn't believe in an omnipotent God. As for the second, that's why we should use the grammatical-historical hermeneutic. But process theology (or meatworks theology) is a dead end.

Moderator note
Lets try to keep this thread on topic. AT has asked a valid question of the people on this board. Debates and criticism of theological standpoints will remain in the "Theology Wing" and other designated threads.
Thank you.

Thanks for that link. My problem is that I was asking for info against gnosticism, not for it. This site seems to support gnostic teachings.

*ah i failed to read the topic properly . . . . and now tries to save face but failes*
true it is pro-gnostic but I have always seen that the best way to debate against something is to have a through knowledge of the proponets of that system.
For ancient Gnosticism i recomend Irenaeus he did a lot of writing against the gnostics.

Iraneus, St. Paul and St. John--John's works can be seen as treatises against the gnostic heresy of docetism.
