Written by a friend....

You say that there is only Love, but Love has, included within it,
great Wisdom, and Wisdom is an indivisible synonym for Truth.
Therefore, Love and Truth are inseparably linked.

Now, the Truth, above all, may unify us, but in order for that to be
possible it must first break down all that limits, all that stands
between the soul and Unity. This includes our beliefs and personal
perceptions, and ultimately the very condition of separation. In
this way Love is pitted against the great love of humanity: it's
self. In this way a great sacrifice must be made; a conflict arises
within and a choice must be made: self or Love. Can you see the
choice to be made? One involves the easy path, the one most trodden,
catering to the ego. The other is rarely tread, filled with
necessary trial, leading to the dissolution of the self, and the
Redemption of the soul.

People speak of Love as though it were a flower, and as much as this
is true, the Rose has its thorns. It is quite easy to say that all
is Love, but then, in the same paragraph you express a number of
beliefs that speak to the contrary.

For example, 'but that is just my truth and you are intitled to your
own..'. Can you see how this is ultimately false? If there is but
one divine Love, and so a single divine Truth, there must be a
single path prescribed by the living Truth in order that one may
return Home to Love. The belief that everybody has their own truth
is actually an anathema to Realization of Love, and places our
attention on the self as the center of our world, and not upon God.
How can one walk steadily towards their goal if their eyes are at
their feet and not upon their destination?

An educated, discerning glance at the teachings of the great Avatars
of the past (Jesus, Buddha, Krshna, etc) will reveal the same
spirital kernel nestled amidst their teachings, teachings which
revealed the sign posts and basic principles needed to reach the
Goal, and always these teachings run parallel to each other as the
Path is ultimately the same, though it may be clothed differently
throughout the ages.

A disciple of Love is a disciple of Truth, and to be a student of
these is to understand the necessity for self-sacrifice unto and
beyond the Great Leap of ego-death.

Can you see that Love is the one true Teacher and that nothing less
than the Truth will It reveal to us, despite any objections we may
have? Can you see that there is ultimately one Truth, the blueprint
of God, and that there is a single Way, dictated by Truth and
expressed by the greatest of Earth's Teachers, to pass through
the 'narrow gates' into Heaven; the August Body of Love?

I would like to add a little to this comment: 'The only safe zone is
to find and stay firmly seated in that Inner Stillness, where one
can actually "Be Still and Know I am God".'

This is also the place from which we may verify the veracity and
authority of other teachings that we may encounter.

For example, certain passages in the New Testament have made my
heart sing and led to a number of Revelations, while other parts,
which seem to have been distorted over the passage of time, fail to
have such an impact. The point is that it is important to seek to
understand the presentations of the great souls, but always this
must be verified within.

The danger is encountered when the teaching appeals to our sense of
vanity, our sense of self. There are forces out there, who work,
both consciously and unconcously, to deceive the human race for
their own selfish purposes, the new age being rife with them. They
have formulated endless dissertations of a 'spiritual' nature, many
of them mixed with bits a pieces of truth.

Always we must verify within. Resonance with the heart, inspiration,
insight and Revelation are a sure sign of the soundness of a
teaching.

Vivian I have read your posts at TWeb. You are obviously sincerely searching for truth. Unfortunately you have been deceived. You have been led to believe that there are multiple keys of knowledge. This is an absolute sign of deception. There is only one key of knowledge, and because you think there are many it means you have never found the one. Keep searching - some day you may be led to it. But do not trust anything that you think you know as truth now - they are all mirages unlocked with lying keys...

Psalm 32:8-9

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye.
Do not be like the horse or like the mule,
Which have no understanding,
Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle,
Else they will not come near you.

If you could receive even a tiny droplet of divine Love, so great would be your joy, so overwhelming, you could not contain it.

- Paramahansa Yogananda.

It is the light of Truth that unites souls and relegates
personalities and their belief systems to their rightful place, which
at the very best may be compared to a raft that may temporarily offer
transportation towards the other shore. But in order to alight on the
other shore, we must let go of the raft, disembark from it completely
and unconditionally. It is that final step that requires a leap of
faith into the unknown. Many people fear that they may sink by taking
that final step off the raft, and so they do, but not because they took
the leap of faith but rather due to clinging on to the raft of belief
and opinion, which eventually rots and sinks in the lake of death.

When the one light of Truth is established in one's being, there is
never any difference or argument about it, for one's consciousness is
too full. To the one who has even glimpsed the eternal Truth within,
all opinions, belief systems, personal reactions and cherished ideas
are recognized to be the veritable obstruction to Truth that they are;
cheap trinkets that are born in time and so will fade and die in time,
while the Truth remains forever.

It takes courage to sacrifice beliefs and ideas for Truth but it is
the only truly sane choice that any soul can make.
