In the beginning was the schizoid God: one part of Him was boundless love and kindness while the other part was boundless severity and wrath. One part was female while the other part was male. One face was a smooth, smiling motherly face while the other face was a bearded and stern fatherly face.
Now this God, like all human beings, was a needy entity. Heshe felt alone. Therefore Heshe created the world, and in this world Heshe decided to make a special place for a creature called "man", who would be both hisher vice-roy and slave. Being himherself tired and lazy after Hisher week-long job of creating the universe, God needed Adam to tend Hisher divine gardens. And of course, like all human parents, God expected Man to show unconditional obedience.
Let us note that God was not only love and justice. Heshe was also foreknowledge. Heshe was clairvoyant. Heshe knew that the creature Heshe was about to bring into existence would disobey Himher grievously.
When the wrathful male side of Hisher split personality realized that, it went into such a rage that the shaking universe was within an inch of disintegrating. The Father decided on the spot to avenge Himself: Man, after his sinful death, would be sent to hell for eternal torment and suffering! And during his short life on earth, he would have as a master a wicked angel called "Satan" who would torment him day and night with insatiable desires.
Now the mother side of God couldn't accept such a horror as eternal hell for all human beings: She was pro-life! Therefore she pleaded with the Father saying, "Jim, I know you are angry and that you can't help it, but wouldn't your infinite sense of offended majesty be appeased if you saw your own Son being tortured and bleeding to death, say on a cross? What about that?"
-"But blood is a finite and created thing, honey. How could it appease my infinite and uncreated sense of offended majesty?
-Com'on, don't you try to sound like an skeptic! Isn't Your Son God like Yourself? Therefore His blood has an infinite value! Got it?"
The Father replied,"Yes, Virginia now that you have cleared that stupid misunderstanding of mine, I truly feel that a divine bloodbath on earth would go a long way towards healing my wounded ego, but...but I can't simply forgive them all ! Even my Son's blood cannot quench my thirst for righteous vengeance. It is inherent in Me, You see. I must have justice!"
The Mother sighed and then pondered for a while. Finally She said:"What if we decided that We will only save those who believe that they are saved by washing themselves with the red blood cells of Our beloved Son? Surely, there will be many humans who will refuse to aknowledge this weird thing! And I'm not speaking of the countless people who will remain ignorant of Our saving sacrifice because they were born at the wrong place and time. But some will..."
"And You and I already know who they are, right?", interjected the Father.
-"Of course, Jimmy! Aren't We OMNISCIENT besides being SCHIZOID? Look, with My scheme, both You and I will be SATISFIED! And humans will have hope too. Hope! The very fuel of human life..."
-...And of our cult!!!", the Father exclaimed."Virginia, my girlie, You are sooo smart! I really don't know howI would manage without You! Life would be hell here."
-"So, shall We make Man now?
-Yes, and let Us make him in Our image!
-Schizoid? Needing things?
-Right, but not omniscient. Otherwise..."
