View Full Version : The New Official Church of Satan

One day, while visiting a forum of a celebrated paranormal radio talk show, I encountered the man who had taken on the task of replacing Anton La Vey as the leader of the Satanic Church. People came to debate him on several subjects, chief among these being that the concept of a Satanic Church was ludicrous because satanists believe worship of Satan is done via complete anarchy and the concept of "church" is an organized function - polar opposites. The gentleman then replied that the Satanic Church had taken on a new function on the planet. This is what caught my attention, since I'd heard most of the other Satanic arguments before and the new argument was a totally different twist in how to avoid God and wreak havoc on people of faith.

Apparently, to become a member of the Satanic Church, it's an absolute necessity that you NOT believe in Satan in the first place. In other words, to be a member of the Official Satanic Church you have to be an atheist! This caused a huge debate where hard core satanists of the pagan variety debated the new satanists who simply refused to believe any supernatural beings existed AT ALL. The old pagan satanists were in shock. They had seen the power of the supernatural in action and could not comprehend the new leader's dogma. Then he explained himself once he had everyone's attention. This is an approximation of what he said:

Since many christians and jews believe God and Satan exist, and have assigned them their own qualities based on old, archaic books, we shall give them what they want. They think Satan is there to torture and persecute them in their lives, so we are simply accomodating them. They think God is there to punish them for their so-called sins, so we are merely providing them with the punishment. If they feel guilt, we magnify it by rubbing their noses in it, just as they claim Satan does. If they are tempted to abuse drugs, we help them along. We offer them the pleasures of the world, just as the Satan they believe in would do. We personify their delusions and exaggerate them. Then we sit back and laugh at them for their stupidity. One less christian or jew, one less problem on the planet.

Their theology is designed to be as psychologically disruptive as possible. In other words, it's been designed by some professional doctors who happen to be satanists, with the sole purpose of totally messing up the head of an unsuspecting person of faith. If the christian or jew so targetted goes insane as a result, the satanist is just doing his job, fulfilling his role in the believer's mind. Supposedly, this also proves God isn't real or He wouldn't have let the satanist's theology mess up the mind of a person of faith. For the atheist scientist with a morbid fascination for human experimentation, this was a long awaited opportunity.

Now this was something the pagan satanists could sink their teeth into. Even though they recognized the power of the supernatural and spiritual Satan, the sheer sadistic pleasure of punishing those who had been spiritually or supernaturally, their arch enemies [et.al, christians, jews], was music to their ears. They approved.

Meanwhile, the atheists on the forums that were not Satanists, gave an approving nod because they were similarly sick and tired of christians and their ideas about repentance and damnation and figured these new guys had the right idea - God just don't exist. What more poetic way to get the point across. It was sheer genius in their opinions.

To say I was totally in shock would be putting it mildy. Here were men and women who believed in morality, who believed in equality, who believed in the freedoms of democracy, supporting the torture and punishment of a select portion of society simply BECAUSE they didn't happen to agree with them about religion.
I left that room with a whole new respect for the supernatural realm.

If you don't want to entertain the notion that evil exists and has an agenda, that's your business but generally-speaking, sticking one's head in the sand won't make it go away.

I have had my run-ins with the Church of Satan. In fact, I'll be having some priests within the Church of Satan on my radio show here very soon. Some of these people are quite intelligent and could easily mingle within any segment of society and they are indwelt by some very powerful forces. But, all are subject to God's Son-the Lord Jesus Christ.

well, to try and make your story juicier, I am gonna post here the lyrics to two songs by a band called Atheist:

1. Unholy War

Enter this thought in your mind
We all were put here for mankind
To serve and obey a so-called lord
The price we must pay we can't afford
Evangelistic politics
No matter how much pain the might inflict
Now that this thought has set in
Wake up and realize this brutal sin

Unholy war
Thaught to pray for
Plaguing scandal
Unholy war

Religion pays in godly ways, education's not a factor
Sit there brainwashed, insecurity
Preaching life and immortality

Criminal in their ways
To reach eight million in just thirty days
Thrive on mindless human beings
An easy target, so it seems

Unholy war
Thaught to pray for
Plaguing scandal
Unholy war

2. No Truth

I am my own self-ruler
I need not any ministry
I see our music scares you
Can't you see that...

There's no truth in modern religion, a god we do not praise
There's no truth in heaven or hell or what lies between
There's no truth in a man-made bible, so who are they to say?
There's no truth, we are our own god and that's the only way

People live their lives
By something never seen
Dreaming all their lives
Of a place they've never been

Why can't you see you live a lie?
Humor yourself until you die
We're atheist as you can see
We all control our can see

There's no truth.

interestingly enough, they have a song that's called "Unquestionable Presence", and the lyrics are about alien life.

my intention, as I think it was Undomiel's, was not to generalize. rather, it was to point out how many people call themselves atheists but join the crusade against the christians just as the satanists do.

I was just saying that kind of thinking isn't restricted to athiests.
Also, I could tell similiar stories about certain Christians, a man named Enyart, and their KGov, but I won't. No one ever suspects the Spanish Inquisition.:teeth: The history of Catholics and Protestants in Japan is also interesting.

Basically both sides supplied guns to proxy daimyo in an attempt to secure their brand of faith in Japan. The Jesuits sided up with Oda Nobunaga, particuarly. Didn't work out in the end for either side, but hey? At least they had fun. :hrm:

maybe those guys could be considered 'untrue' christians just as you'd consider the atheists that team up with satanists to fight the christians as 'untrue' atheists

actually, I'd just consider the athiest bad people. The "christians" are bad people and not christians. Which is my point. Some people are dumb, or jerks, or both!

The Church of Satan is a joke today among most true Satanists. There is a excellent book written by Michael Aquino, head of the Temple of Set, that exposed Anton LeVay and the downfall of the Church of Satan. It's called, of course, "The Church of Satan," and can be downloaded for free at: http://pub16.ezboard.com/ffirstchurchofsatansatanism.showMessage?topicID=941.topic
You get real insider info on what has happened.:deal:

Satanism in all it's forms is pretty ridiculous. Whether you're a Christian observing a Satanist, an Atheist observing a Satanist, what either party is to see is a sadly misguided person embracing as theology the most destructive patterns of human behaviour. Those being the self-first dictum, the eye-for-an-eye dictum, and the way of being that suggests affliction be met with greater affliction to achieve peace by force and dominance.

I believe it was Marx who said "A nation built on bloodshed will thrive on bloodshed, and surely fall by bloodshed."

Such is the Satanist. Built, subsists, and consumes himself with his own bitter, narrow cynicism.
