Actually that is not the best way cause it open a big browser window. Go to the forums page, and in that box at the top that has the forum stats, look at the left and there is a link "view latest discussions" that brings up the ticker which can be kept open over windows , kind of like the detachabe shoutbox.

Yeah... Muz found a 404
