The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11

The Two Witnesses of Revelation 11. Who are these two prophets? What do they have to say? Why are they called the two witnesses? How will their message be proclaimed? And is there any special significance to the fact that they're headquartered in Jerusalem? God's Church has often wondered about these things, but we ALL need to know the answers to these vital questions, especially since the two witnesses will soon make their debut upon the world stage!

Even as the United Europe is being raised up before our very eyes, just as Herbert W. Armstrong said it would, isn't it reasonable that God is raising up the two witnesses who will testify against it? And even as God's Church is approaching the end of their great commission (Herbert W. Armstrong took the gospel around the world, the Church must warn the world), isn't it only reasonable that the two witnesses should be beginning theirs? (John 3:30). Didn't Isaiah foresee this very event when he prophesied of the "night when no man can work," but assures us of two whom God would simultaneously raise up to impart their light? (Isaiah 60:1-2)...

Romans 3:21 "But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by (1) the law and (2) the prophets."

Now, here is something further. It says in the Revelation of the two witnesses, "These are the two candlesticks standing"

The King Messiah had said, "The seven candlesticks you saw are the seven churches." But of these seven He rebuked five, saying, "Repent, or else I will come and remove your candlestick from out of its place." John turned and saw One standing in the midst of seven candlesticks. Five from seven leaves two standing before the One.

So, Paul then writes, "Let philadelphia continue."

Then, the King Messiah changed His form on the mount of transfiguration, and Moses and Elijah stood talking with Him. Then, the law and the prophets witnessed the Righteousness of God to the three apostles.

The two witnesses will be sent by God in the spirit of Elijah. The chief spokesman between the two will hail from the royal house of David and fulfills the Elijah role and will shake up the earth by his God-given MESSAGE and MIRACLES! (Zechariah 12:8).

Herbert W. Armstrong, in the spirit of Elijah, laid the foundation for such a great Work, and restored precious truths to God's CHURCH. Jesus Christ will restore God's government to the entire Earth (Acts 3:21). The interlude finds the leader of the two witnesses, in the spirit of Elijah/HWA, restoring truth to the NATION of Israel (Malachi 4:4). There is no contradiction! This is based upon the Law and the Covenant and is testifed to by the Prophets.

Thankfully, the Two Witnesses, who will keep the biblical Sabbath, festivals and dietary laws just like Yashua, the early Church, Herbert W. Armstrong and the whole world soon under King Jesus Christ, will speak with immunity from the pettiness of men and nations for 3 1/2 years and then get murdered, resurrected 3 1/2 days later, and await the imminent Return of the King from Heaven in full view of all mankind - having ANNOUNCED it.
