Sharon Moves Closer to Geneva Proposal on Territorial Exchange (http://www.israelnn.com/news.php3?id=94160)

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told a Moroccan newspaper that if security and quiet are attained, he is definitely ready to recognize a Palestinian state and to “go a long way” in negotiations.

In an interview in Le Economist, Sharon said that while Israel would not return to the borders that existed prior to the 1967 Six Day War, it was ready to exchange territories with a Palestinian state.

The idea of retaining settlement blocs in Judea and Samaria, in exchange for other territories liberated by Israel in the 1948 War of Independence, is similar to proposals set forth in the “Geneva Initiative,” a draft agreement for a negotiated settlement which would set up a Palestinian state.

That initiative has been strongly supported by Meretz-Yahad leader Yossi Beilin, and provides for handing over the Old City of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount, to Arab control. /

With whispers of the withered Sharon further drying up his soul by being ready to surrender Judaism's holiest site - the Temple Mount - officially to Ishmaelites, this should serve as a wake up call, a warning shot to every Jew and Israeli to reclaim the Temple Mount NOW!

Israelis will never restore the Temple Mount as the Temple Mount as long as they're willing to accept the deplorable status quo that practices religious discrimination against them daily. Jews and Israelis must demand their religious rights upon the Temple Mount today or tomorrow will be too late!

No wonder you were deported from Israel.

A brief read of Jewish History as contained in the OT demonstrates that when Jehovah decides that the temple mount is to belong to the Jews that it will then, and only then, belong to the Jews.

Likewise, that same brief read of Jewish history will show that when the Jews try to rise up and do things themselves they end up dead.

Seems to me you should ask Jehovah to return it to you as He has in the past.

Remember here awhile back a bunch of Jews were going to storm the dome? So guards were placed inside the tunnel in the western wall to prevent it? Hundreds were suppose to show up and only a handfull did...:(

Storming it at this point would only result in war in the streets there again...and they would lose. Yes its sad. But one day God will make it all right again.

God bless

The idea (for David and those of his ilk) is to tear down the mosque and rebuild the temple.

Hi David

The Temple is already under construction. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost. As Jesus was dying, he cried: “It is finished.” At Calvary, Jesus finished transgression by becoming sin for us. No future sacrifice can or will ever finish transgression; it was completely and perfectly finished at Calvary. God was completely satisfied with this spotless once all-sufficient sacrifice of His own dear Son and thus immediately and eternally rent the veil of the temple in twain. Calvary therefore finished the imperfect sacrifices. Mark 15:37 records, “Jesus cried with a loud voice, and gave up the ghost. And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom.”

From a heavenly perspective the renting of the veil finished the temple sacrifices and oblations. Christ’s vicarious atonement satisfied all the just demands of a thrice-holy God. In this term we see how Christ has met or satisfied all the demands made by the Law and justice of God, on behalf of and in the place of his elect. By His self sacrifice he obtained complete justification for the child of God. The consequence of Christ’s atonement was the putting away of the old, forever, including the subsequent and consequential destruction of the physical Jewish temple.

You seem to have a consumming desire to bring back the old covenant system (as can we witnessed by your website). However, you seem to ignore the plain instruction of the New Testament scriptures that the old animal sacrifices have been eternally abolished / superseded by Christ's once-for-all sacrifice for sin. The old system of repeated sacrifices (types) was terminated in God’s economy through the once all-sufficient satisfactory sacrifice of Christ at Calvary when God’s only begotten Son became the final atoning sacrifice.

Paul

I don't have a problem using the term 'Jehovah' in a respectful way, although in traffice I've a tendecy to use the term 'G_d' is horrible ways.

And all this time I thought you didn't know how to spell "God".

Aaaah. Gotcha. It's pretty cool that in the Hebrew, the personal name of Israel's God is always just given as "YHWH"- even they didn't want to sound or write it out.

Why is it right for a pagan mosque to occupy Judaism's holiest site?

The biblical IDEAL is for the Israelis to love and obey God and end the Nazi-Muslim occupation of the TEMPLE Mount. After the foreign objects are history, the faithful can restore the Temple Mount as the TEMPLE Mount, just as the Law and the Prophets call for (as Bible-believers, both Jews and Christians, testify).

And just where does the Bible call for the secular state of Israel--living by a secular constitution, not according to the Mosaic law--to "restore" the Temple Mount?

Well I'm not him, but you do know that "Jehovah" is not a name God ever used of himself at all, correct? It basically is a word that came about from Gentile ignorance of the Hebrew language.
