Socrates, we know that as a hard nosed "I'll fight against the evolution till I die" christian that you will agree with probably 99.9% of the subject matter presented in this forum. We also know that for some reason, christians, myself included in this, have some sort of fanatical need to try and blast others for ideas and hypotheses, calling them pathetic, dim-witted, stupid, baseless, cowards and whatever other terms you may or may not deem worthy.

We are here to discuss evolution, science, archaeology and everything associated with those disciplines on this forum and come here for the beneficial and sometimes enlightening talk which happens from time to time. Although we try and respect those who come in here, and will attempt to correct blatently obvious quotation errors or references of printed materials, some people will always come flaming in like the great troll what live under the bridge trying to charge people for contemplating the origins of the universe by researching various theories.

I understand that this is a heated subject. I understand that many people may not hold to your exact opinion on the subject matters of this forum.

But you came blasting in here like said troll and have been screaming pathetic, baseless and who knows what else. It's coming off as rude and obnoxious. I'm all for debate but it's hard to do when one guy is being so obviously obnoxious that you can't think straight. I mean, Answers in Genesis is nice and all but it holds to one viewpoint from one focus. There are billions of sites out there, some non-chrisitan papers which prove chrisitian ideals. Haven't you ever looked at those?

I just thought I would say something. I know I would appreciate it.

Good to see you here!

He didn't take any notice of you, either. He's as rude as ever.

It's alright. I think it's a cultural thing anyway. We should just bring the peace!  :cir: :shy: :whip:

I's just the nature of the topic. Creationists and evolutionists are always getting into it.

I's just the nature of the topic. Creationists and evolutionists are always getting into it. But he is like that in every topic he "discusses". I brought up a thread on the bedrock formation and the buried valley in Cuyahoga County. He has barely spoken a word on geology regarding it. He just likes to call people that disagree with him "misotheists" "unpatriotic" and anything in general he views as bad.

Hey Jimmy! Can you tell me about your sig line? Sure. Its a snipet from Yes's song "Gates of Delerium"

In times as such, it is quite relevant. The statement itself is made by Jon Anderson in sacrcasm saying that killing pre-emptively is right because we are doing so before they do.

It's the nature of the topic yes, but we can always seek change!
