When the great apostle Shaul wrote to the Corinthians he gave them this warning 2 Cor.4:3 & 4.
This word god & God are both Strongs number 2316.
The English translations show this same word is used in both places of this verse.
Here are those verses from the K.J.V.
3: But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4: In whom the (god 2316) of this world hath blinded the minds of them
which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ who is the image of (God 2316), should shine unto them.
Here is 2 Corinthians 4:3 & 4 From The Book Of Yahweh The Holy Scriptures by The House Of Yahweh
3: But if our message is hidden, it is hidden to those who are lost-
4: For the god (el) of this world (Satan) has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, so that the light of the message of the glory of the Messiah, Who is the image of Yahweh, should not shine unto them.
Now Genesis 3:4 & 5
And the serpent said to the woman; You will not surely die.
For He ( YAHWEH ) knows that in the day you eat of it, your eyes will opened, and you will as gods knowing righteousness and evil.
Yes Satan wanted to be above the Creator and receieve worship as He alone is entitled to, as we can read in Isayah 14 and Eze.28. Satan has the whole world praying to the wrong person by proxy and the use of pagan titles.
When the translators removed the Name YHVH (YAHWEH) over 7600 times from the very Hebrew Manuscripts Father Yahweh inspired to be written and replaced that Holy Name with pagan titles such as Lord and God they deceived the whole world just as Rev.12:9 states.
So, are you sure you want to be a part of the family of the gods?

Yahshua ( Joshua ) 24:14 & 15
14: Now, therefore, reverence Yahweh and serve Him in complete honesty and in truth- and put away the gods (elohim) your fathers seved on the other side of the River; and also in Egypt- and serve Yahweh.
15: But if it seems evil to you to serve Yahweh, them choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve- whether the gods (elohim) your fathers served on the other side of the River; or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live; "BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE: WE WILL SERVE YAHWEH!"
Remember we can not serve two masters.
Ps.68: 4 from the KJV Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extrol him by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.
How could anyone over look this clear instructions about the Holy Name of our heavenly Father?

Here in your own Bible written by the English translators you have the proper Name of Yahweh yet the translators call Him god.
There is no "J" in the Hebrew that should read YAH.
Like in HALLELUYAHWEH! Which by the way means Praise Yahweh.
