There is not a damned thing in this world worth losing you eternal life over.
Satan knows this fact.
That is why you are reading everything except the Scriptures.
Remember Satan is more crafty that any other created being.

You know what they say about "assuming", don't you?

Because you'll find that most of us on this site do read scriptural passages. Some of us even read them in the original language. Have you ever read the bible in its original languages?

Also, if you only have the time for scripture reading why are you bothering posting on an internet website? Come on dude, read the scriptures!

Dear "real friend" Okieshowedem,

The scriptures themselves aren't worth losing my physical or eternal life over, either. It's not reading the scriptures, in fact, that gives faith its substance. Rather, it's knowing Christ is with us, no matter what we're doing... like posting on a message board, for instance. I take great pleasure in knowing that. :teeth:

Your friend,

"There is not a damned thing in this world worth losing you eternal life over."

How about this scripture?
Eph. 4:29
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

How about reading stop signs on the highway? How about reading prescription labels and warnings? How about reading the writings of "pastor-teachers" as ordained in Ephesians chapter four? How about reading thank you notes from your wife or children? How about reading books on how to read better so you can read more scripture? How about reading books on hermeneutics so you can better understand the scripture you are reading?
